Dr. Duane Edward
Duane Edwards is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Sociology at the University of Guyana. He lectures both undergraduate and graduate courses in social theory and research. His research areas include ethnic dynamics in plural societies, the social implications of Caribbean philosophical and development thought, and socio-cultural systems in developing societies. His main research project explores the theoretical linkage between social differentiation and identity politics. He holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, and a BSc in Sociology from the University of Guyana.

Mr. Dennis Pile
Dennis Pile is a Lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Guyana, where he has been teaching for over 7 years. He is passionate about teaching and researching, and his academic skills have impacted government agenices. He advises the National Insurance Scheme’s statistical department and has worked as a government policy analyst. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Guyana, a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of the West Indies. and an MBA in Oil and Gas management from the UNICAF University. In 2016. he was part of a small group that wrote on the diversification of the economy of Trinidad and Tobago.
